Day 309 - Mr. & Mrs. Brian Summers
Wednesday, November 05, 2008
With all of the depressing election news, at least there were a few bright moments to my day.
Some pertaining to the election... 1.) My Man Mitch won in Indiana 2.) A couple of the gay marriage ban initiatives have passed 3.) The failure of dems. to get a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate
Others on a more personal level... We were surprised with the news that Jeff's little brother, Brian, got married on November 1st. He, his new wife Tiawannia, and two of her kids (Shay & Jujuan) stopped by on their way moving from Hawaii to Georgia. We had met Tiawannia before, but this was the first time meeting her kids. Nick was especially ecstatic. He's loved Tiawannia since the first time he met her.

Lol! The only depressing election news that I've seen is listed on your blog as positive!!!
Actually, I can't say that since I voted for Mitch too. JLT just wasn't a very good candidate.
