Day 118 - Happy Birthday, Mom!

Yesterday was my Mom's 62nd birthday. Since my sister was out of town yesterday, we decided to celebrate it today. Rachael made the cake all by herself. I thought she did a great job! Jill bought KFC (Mom's choice) and I made garlic dill mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, cheesy bread, and sliced strawberries.

Oh my goodness - that cake looks yummy! :) Post the recipe, please? :) :)

She just baked a plain chocolate cake and frosted it with store-bought coconut pecan frosting. She then covered the sides of the cake w/ coconut and added pecans to the top (with another ring of coconut).

It was delicious!
