Day 179 - Storms!
Friday, June 27, 2008
We were supposed to take my mother-in-law to the cardiologist today, but my father-in-law was able to take her instead. We just found out that she has to go in for a cardiac catheterization on July 11th, so prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Since we had the day off, I decided to take the kids to Pizza Hut for lunch. Rachael has been begging for a P'zone for weeks. When Jeff got home, we were under a severe thunderstorm warning which quickly escalated into a tornado warning. Once we were positive the immediate danger was past, we headed out for a drive. (Somehow that's sort of become a family tradition... we all love thunderstorms!) I was able to snap a few pictures of the beautiful sky.

Wow! It looks like the sky is on fire! This has really been a stormy spring/summer in the midwest, hasn't it?
