Bonaventure cemetery

We didn't do a lot of sightseeing around Savannah, but we did manage to make it to Bonaventure cemetery where "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" was filmed. Very cool, but creepy trees!

how long did it take to get there? I've been dying to spend some time in Savannah. I'd love to just tour the old homes in the area and stay in a B&B, although that probably isn't a kiddo vacation.

I think it took my in-laws about 12 hours. We didn't get a lot of touring done since we were only there for a short time, but we did drive around and look at the exteriors. They were beautiful! You could always leave your kids with me and take an 'adults only' trip! ;-D

Nick & Rachael are already begging to spend more time with the girls. They said that they didn't have enough time today!

12 hours isn't too bad. Our goal is to start taking two vacations a year. So many places to see before we die!

Our girls were pretty darn excited too, but they CRASHED OUT in the car on the way home. They were so worn out, I think it took about 1/2 hour! We'll have to plan something in February.
