Day 240 - New Harmony park & Labyrinth
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
Today we visited New Harmony with Heather, Sophia, & Mary. First, we went to the massive play structure at one of the parks. The swings were a big hit with the younger kids, while the older kids amused themselves by amassing an assemblage of bugs. Unfortunately, there weren't a lot of rocks to keep them occupied.
After several hours at the park, we traveled over to a labyrinth of shrubs. It definitely wasn't anything spectacular, but the kids entertained themselves by playing tag while romping through the maze. The center of the maze had a really cool round structure which lent itself nicely as a photo backdrop.
I also wanted to let you know that Renita and I are thinking of starting up an online Bible study group. Do you think you might be interested? If so, would you go to my school blog (Welcome to Willis Creek School button on top right of regular blog) and leave any suggestions/ideas you might have? I think it could work out pretty well.
