Today Rachael and I traveled to Bloomington to celebrate the 4th (a day late!) Ellettsville had their fireworks which were not nearly as nice as yesterday's, but still fun. There was a big playground there where hundreds of kids were playing. Of course, our kids were the ones wandering around with their bug catchers ignoring all of the chaos!
Before the fireworks, we went to eat at the Cracker Barrel with Diana and her family. Afterwards, Andy (Diana's husband) helped the kids set off their own fireworks while Diana and I discussed school plans for next year. We were going to head home afterwards, but the kids were playing games and we were talking until after 2:30 in the morning. We ended up spending the night...
